• 2010...and so it begins...

So after the ground breakingly International 2009, Hi-Gloss are looking to the skies for what we reckon will be THE year that our plans for global domination will start to come to fruition! After producing a hugely succesful promo for music artist Shena (see below), we're due to produce another in the first quarter of 2010 and also unlease the incredible blog footage captured during the mini US tour Hi-Gloss accompanied Shena on last year.

Our make-over film for You magazine went live on the 4th (see left) and other projects include films for Tango, Amex, Home House, BookTrust, Kraft, Pam Ann and Turkish electro artist, Ramadan....deep breath!!

  • Late 2009...

2009 saw Hi-Gloss really push the boat out on our most ambitious project yet with a supremely glossy music video for Nu-disco artist Shena and her latest release 'Nasty Little Rumour'. The Hi-Gloss crew worked two very long days filming the promo in a total of 8 locations around East London. We were massively challenged but glamour prevailed as always and due to the incredible effort and talent involved, we've pulled off one hell of a fine looking video that will no doubt feature on a screen near you shortly!

Other notable projects for late 2009 include our film for The Duke Of Edinburgh Awards Trust which involved a rather royal shoot at Bagshot Park (unfortunately we are not at ant liberty to say any more) and our massive 9 viral contract with Cobra Beer, featuring one hell of a spicy shoot with celebrity chef, Anjum Anand.

  • Africa Bound!

it seems Hi-Gloss is making adventure its trade with the news that following our Dubai trip, March will see the team headed to Uganda and Tanzania for the filming of a documentary for The Global Humanitarian Forum. Over a period of three years, the forum plans to erect over 5000 weather reading stations in Africa, Asia and South America. The 'Weather Info For All' project is mobilizing public and private partners to ensure availability of reliable weather information to vulnerable communities affected by climate change and we are documenting the process. We are very excited about being involved in such an incredible and very important venture.

  • This months Glossed, Glamorous and Gorgeous....

Each and every month, we at the Hi-Gloss office nominate a winner for our prestigious GGG award (Glossed, Glamorous and Gorgeous). We are not swayed in any particular direction and so our champs stem from Hackney to Hollywood, from Disney to Dalston. For this months lucky winner click here (we can hardly contain our excitement).

  • Calling all...

Hi-Gloss are calling all 'characters' (actors, writers, pre-post production crew) to complete the clique. If you enjoy riding our train of rather surrealist thought and want to become ( or already feel!) a part of our world, then do get in touch at info@hi-glossproductions.com or send presents, chocolates and c.v's/photos to us at the Hi-gloffice address.
